Charles Gounod used Bach's Prelude #1
from the Well-Tempered Clavier as the
basis for a new melody for the latin
Ave Maria text.
I added a French Horn, 2-part women's
chorus, and a Violincello to the original
accompianment, and, indeed this arrangement
could be performed live by 'real' instruments.
I realized the accompianment on the K2600
synthesizer/sampler.
This performance was first heard on
